If there is even a minimal sense of fairness in this life then people who don't follow God will not go to heaven in an afterlife - paraphrasing.
I can't believe anyone trained in religion or who has lived more than a couple of decades thinks this way. I have yet to see anything that leads me to believe there is any fairness in life. I have read about a 'man' named Jesus being put to death. Was that 'fair'? What about martyrs?
People must listen to everything, religion, science, etc. with skepticism. We must hear each word and weigh it for ourselves. I first heard this idea during one of my first psychology courses and over the years I've seen it repeatedly. I don't want to be my own worst enemy anymore.
